The characters are weak and it would be best served if adapted to a children's book

The characters are weak and it would be best served if adapted to a children's book. I possibly wouldn't be so upset about if it had been 99 cents.

Originally published in French as: Orangers de Versailles. In the 1670s, fourteen-year-old Marion, who has a talent for making perfumes, gets the chance to serve Louis XIV's mistress at the palace of Versailles, where she gets caught up in the palace intrigue.

A truly strange book, The Orange Trees of Versailles is about an imagined young woman with an aptitude for perfumes . This I enjoyed reading Orange Trees of Versailles by Annie Pietri because of certain reasons: first, I liked Marion's character and her great sense of smell.

A truly strange book, The Orange Trees of Versailles is about an imagined young woman with an aptitude for perfumes named Marion. I've always wished to be just like Marion who was very gifted in smelling and remembering scents. I also liked her because of her courage and intelligence.

Orange Trees of Versailles by Annie Pietri was strange. I thought it was a children's book. It's listed as such, but it really isn't in terms of topic. At best it would fit in the Brother's Grimm category of children's stories. It was a quick read, but I am not convinced that I enjoyed it. Nice cover illustration though.

I found this book to be very shallow with gaping holes in the storyline. The characters are weak and it would be best served if adapted to a children's book. I possibly wouldn't be so upset about if it had been 99 cents

A negative review should be *relevant* to the product. "AA"'s nasty review (below) totally missed the mark! AA complains that the book should have been adapted for a children's book. Well DUH! IT IS A CHILDREN'S BOOK! Says right on the description.

Bad reviews based on nonsense hurt books by burying them for no good reason. Shameful.
