Education has many problems with conflict. Conflict theories are also applied to students and families at school. Functionalists focus on the importance and value of education in society. Conflict affects that society in many ways. Conflict deals with change, revolution, competition, and many more things. Functionalists point to other latent roles of education such as transmission of core values and social control. Functionalists does not see education as something in everyday life, like others do, they see it as a desire. Functionalists allow others not to just label education as a word; it allows them to really see the importance and value of education.
Value conflicts in the minds of school children are often created by.
