LOVE this book! This was such a help to me when developing a course on the same topic. The author is down to earth and speaks in a language that everyone can follow and understand. I have used his statistics book of the same theme extensively as well. The statistics book was required for my course in grad school, and I used it in developing my own graduate statistics course as well. Thank you, Dr. Salkind!

This book was required for an educational statistics based class and we only read a few seleted chapters. I really enjoyed the way it was written, it was a lot more fun to use. It's been a while since i last looked through it, but i remember being able to understand it well and feeling engaged.

Love this book. Simple to understand if you seriously hate numbers. Walks you through it in a breeze. One of the rare textbooks Ive read from cover to cover.

The author tries to be cute with the way he writes... but comes off disingenuous, and no less tedious than we all thought Tests & Measurements would be. You could probably shorten the book by at least a few pages if it was more straightforward.

As an introductory text or as a text for review/update for practicing professionals, this book provides a complete understanding in a well-thought out format from basic to advanced issues about tests and measurement. It has been helpful to me both as a resource and as the required text for a graduate course in Tests & Measurement. The author's approach to practice questions at the end of each chapter, wherein he asks and gives the answers, seems to be a concept sharpening device, particularly liked by many students. Altogether, this is the only text I have seen that is readily and continuously readable for those who think that the subject is dry and boring. A keeper for future references. Well written and easy to understand. If anyone needs for a college class. I give it two thumbs up.
This book makes it easy to understand the more complex terms and concepts taught in Tests and Measurements. The wording and phrasing is somewhat slang and surprising at first because of being used to reading more technical texts, but it is clear cut, easy to follow, and even comical.
