Comments to eBook The Science of Entomology
Cheber
Quite detailed about the structure and function of insects. Perfect for the budding taxonomist. This is an "elder" edition and thus very reasonably priced via Amazon's used books. A smart student could use this edition and eschew whatever overpriced tome his professor is selling!
Eta
Well written and comprehensive. A thorough review of entomology that is a great review tool. One of six books on the reading list for the ESA's certification exam for a reason.
kolos
This is a greak book and greatly expanded my knowledge.

Well-organized, well-written introductory text to Entomology is more than your basic textbook. Includes a logical progression of information, as well as critical taxonomy keys, this is one of the best science text books I've ever seen. This book is sure to be a foundation that even graduate students will refer back to again and again.
