I’m not going to go into the basic plot, you can get that information from the cover blurb, but what I will say is that I’m always impressed by how well Christine Feehan writes emotions; angst, regret, betrayal, guilt, sorrow, joy, passion, love. You name it and she makes you feel it which is one of the things I find most appealing about her stories – the ability to connect on a personal level with the characters.

Androrim

If you read the series then the book is somewhat predictable. But she always gives you great drama, characters that you will remember. Sometimes the subject matter is rather dark but in many ways gives you a true glimpse of other places and conflicts happening in that part of our world. You will root for them and want to smack them on the head sometimes but in the end you end up loving and respecting the ideals that they live under.

This is the best book I,'ve read so far. The relationship were pure and free of any kind of deceit. The characters had a true ring to them. Family and friendship is the tie that binds.the storey transported to a jungle far away. I was there, and I was inspired. Thanks again.

I have read some of the reviews and think most are dead wrong!! I love her Leopard Series!! I have read and or listened to all of them. They are no more brutal than any other good murder mystery and I've read a few romance novels with their fair share of killers, rapists and such. I have listened to and read Wild Fire and Burning Wild. I loved Conner and Jake respectively. Strong men - and strong women. I loved Savage Nature - Saria and Drake are fabulous and Leopards Prey with Remy and Blue is another great listen/read. Loved them all!!

Impala Frozen

Isabeau was Connors mate but he used her to get to her father. And now she won't have anything to do with him.. Plus she marked him with her claws which made him not able to have anything to do with other women. Now he is back in the rain forest to help a tribe to get their children back.. I just love these stories.. She is the best writer ever lol.. ????

Interesting story line in that the female marked two people... Christine’s attention to details are amazing and her ability to make the words come alive is extraordinary.

Hellstaff

As with all of Christine Feehan's books, there are twists and turns and suspense as well as humor and "darkness" on every page. This book is no exception and I found it hard to put down. I loved the lead character and the romance was sizzling! GREAT READ - I would recommend to any and all.

I'd come closer to giving this 3 1/2 stars, but because I like Feehan, I'll round up. This was an OK book in the series, not awesome, but not the worst I've read in the past. If I had to admit, the leopard series is not my favorite. Again, I like Feehan's writing, and the books are always a good way to pass a rainy afternoon, and I'm still going to buy the books, but these are just OK.
