From Marjorie Holmes, one of the most beloved authors of our times, comes the stunning story you have been asking for, the inspiring sequel to her national bestseller, Two From Galilee. Rooted in her broad knowledge of the Bible and of history, Marjorie's wonderful new novel explores the "lost years" of Jesus' young manhood-a period not even mentioned in the Bible. Where did he go and what did he do between the age of twelve, when we last see him debating the elders in the temple, and the age of thirty, when he began his ministry?

Marjorie Holmes, the award-winning author of such classic bestsellers as I've Got to Talk to Somebody, God, was renowned for making the Bible come to life in books. She writes with such vivid detail that it's like you're really there. She also has a decent vocabulary, and her descriptions are absolutely luscious. Best of all, she has taken the time to make sure her book is fairly accurate. You can really lose yourself in this book. Hours could go by as you're reading, and you wouldn't even realize it. I absolutely love this story.

Indeed, the entire book is devoted, in uninspiring detail, to his boyhood in Nazareth: sheperding with his grandfather, loving animals, working in the carpentry shop, enjoying his siblings, the Passover journey to Jerusalem, and his first love. Tedious in the extreme (life is recorded with every banality in place), the author focuses on the least interesting aspects of the Bible story.
