It contains forty-four folk tales from South Africa (some of which are merely different versions of the same story), mostly from the Bushmen, although stories of the Khoikhoi and Zulu are also presented. The stories are almost entirely non-religious in nature, and focus exclusively on animal stories. South-African- Folk Tales on Internet Archive.
