Nigerian migrants’experiences. migrants was led by Bettina Migge (UCD), supported by Theo Ejorh and Susan. The most compelling factor which Feldman (2008) identifies is the growing pressure on migrant students to excel academically even in their first six months of study, even when they are still trying to find their feet in their new environments and to acculturate linguistically as well. Further evidence of this pressure is provided by our first questionnaire which was carried out in 2015.
