This is a great compact and loose leaf textbook. I love the size, it's about the size of an average hardback novel which makes it great to carry around. The product arrived in a timely and undamaged manner. The only problem I really had with this purchase was that it was suppose to come as a three hole punched copy so it was easily put into a binder however when my product arrived it only had two hole punches which were off center. It must have been a manufacturing error because it even says on the cover it's suppose to be a three hole punched copy (LOL). Because of this I am unable to put this book in any sort of binder and the hopes of the pages staying nice are not as high and a resell will be more difficult. Other than that though it was a fine purchase.

I read a 1 star review for this book and they were spot on in their critiques. It is poorly written and very difficult to read. You will be very sad when your teacher gives you 50+ pages to learn before the next class. As the other reviewer stated, the point of most paragraphs and sections is exceedingly difficult to follow. Colors are the drabbiest I've ever seen in a college book and will not help you remain focused if reading in the evenings. Print is too small for comfortable reading. Unfortunately, you are buying this book because your teacher requires it. Good luck!

Used this book for summer term. Not a fan. The authors, who are married to each other, throw in lots of little personal anecdotes which i could do without. They also chose to define concepts by giving 5 examples of it without actually coming out and saying what it was about.

I hated this book and the whole class hates it. Literally makes simple things hundred times harder!

I needed this book for a class. The book store wanted 2 times this amount. It came loss with holes punched just as it said it would. I love it! If you need MYLAB with the book just but the MYLAB off their website and save money by getting the book and lab separate.

Good text but I wish it was easier to understand the expertly wordy sentences by these brilliant researchers.

I really like this book because it's easy to read and understand, which is great, because Cognitive Psychology is NOT easy to understand.

The reason I gave this 4 stars is because after only reading 4 chapters, the cover of the book is popping off of the spine. I'd like to keep the book nice so I can reference it later, but I hate that it's breaking. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
This is by far the worst textbook that I have ever used for any subject. I truly wonder if the authors understand the cognitive psychology. I have had to buy two other Cognitive Psychology books to help with this subject. Still not sure that I will do well in this class and I blame a lot of it ob this textbook. Format is lousy. Book is hard to read. Subject material is not taught well. I didn't believe it when I saw a note from another reviewer saying it was a lousy book but that reviewer was absolutely right. I'm not some dummy either. I have a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree in meteorology. I have been taking psychology course to pursue a Master's or PhD. This is the worst textbook. Chapters are not organized well. Chapters are Too long. Very poorly written textbook. I give this textbook a F- .
