This book is considered "the book" in the trauma world. It is very detailed, and makes for excellent reading and learning, and brushing up on your trauma knowledge. Anyone who plans on doing trauma during their residency should have this book.

I thought it is the seventh edition it turn out to be the sixth edition ,furthermore the book is damaged in many places,it took long time to be sent .overall it is not worth 43 dollars plus shipping.I am very diappointed with the purchase.
Nicearad
Although it is a reference book for trauma surgeons and must be part of their collection, it is a boring book, with long tiring chapters an sometimes inconclusive.
Thordigda
This is the most recent edition of the Trauma textbook and is essentially the gold-standard for the care of trauma patients and trauma-related problems. Having owned prior editions as well, I can't say that you need to rush out and upgrade with each new edition (like most textbooks), though this book is a must for anyone who is involved in trauma care.
Agalas
Have read last two editions they keep getting better but unlike other texts that get morte in depth with each edition, this book is pretty superficial which is great for a resident but wears thin as an attending.
Wnex
This textbook should be the standard for any surgeon taking care of trauma patients. Some of the graphics are poorly reproduced and dated, but the information is current and well presented.
