First - I love the format of this book. This book seems to have all of the relevant information I need to study. I almost wish I found it sooner, as I am in my final semester.... BUT I have found errors in the information. At first I thought maybe a typo? But these things are blatant errors. Definitely not good to study information that is wrong. For example... under Diabetes Insipidus... the book states the definition is, "A decrease in ADH with an increase in urine osmolarity". In Diabetes Insipidus, SERUM osmolarity is increased(>295) and URINE osmolarity is decreased. The book lists the normal value for urine specific gravity as 0.010-0.030, which is wrong. The correct range is 1.000 to 1.030. Since I am currently studying the endocrine system, this is the only chapter I have read, but two errors on one page makes me wonder what other mis-information is in this book. I would hate for a new student to get even more confused about difficult content by studying out of this book.

This could be a great book, great concept, and I love the way the information is presented. Another reviewer stated that this book looks like someone summarized all of their nursing class lectures, and indeed, that is what it is. It's clear and concise, and summarizes what you need to know. It doesn't replace your required reading, but it would be a great review... if the information was accurate. I would give it a 4 or 5 star rating, but at this point, it needs some editing.

the book i received is a LOT smaller than the one i saw at school - i used the isbn # from the cover of the one i saw at school so i don't know why i got a different version; that being said - this book is amazing. i am finding it very useful for pre class study - focus study as well as referring to when i need to brush up. i would recommend it.

This has a lot of really great information that is set up in a easy to read style. Makes it nice to carry with me on my kindle so I can read at the gym. I would like a paperback version so that I could write notes in the margins and keep in my purse.

this book has alot of simple wonderful info and its written as if someone was personally talking to you, not too formal or dry. It was refreshing. Again, not a HEAVY material book, but a good light brushing of nursing. :)
