A fascinating look at the old Irish Brehon Laws and how they legislated for sex and marriage within Irish Gaelic society. Very informative and interesting to see how in so many ways the Behon Laws were so much were sensible and compassionate then either the English legal system which was imposed on Ireland and the oppressive laws in the areas of sex and marriage enacted after independance.
