Do you agree with the author’s statement that in the US people hardly learn anything about the pacific side of the war? I totally agree. I’m so grateful that Laura wrote this book to help me understand the events surrounding that side of WWII. All I remember learning in school was that the US dropped the atomic bomb and the war was over.
