Marx's Theory of Alienation is a 1970 book about Karl Marx's theory of alienation by the philosopher István Mészáros. The work has received a mixture of praise and criticism from scholars. Mészáros discusses Karl Marx's theory of alienation with reference to Marx's Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844. He explores the influence of philosophers such as Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and Ludwig Feuerbach on Marx. Marx's Theory of Alienation was first published by The Merlin Press in 1970.
