Using this textbook now, and although the material is VERY dry and somewhat challenging, the textbook does lay out the material in the simplest form possible and provides ample explanations.

They show a picture of the book I needed to order but all I received was the resource guide. The 2 are supposed to be together but now I have to go and find the actual book (the one shown in the picture) elsewhere.

If you are a school psychologist or school psychology student, this text is a great resource to have on your shelf. However, the text is not reader friendly. I am a graduate student in a school psych program, and my classmates and I used to joke about reading sattler to help us fall asleep at night. I kept my copy because it has a lot of useful information, but it is pretty dense.
