I found myself reading this just because. I really like the small boxes of information scattered throughout the chapter. I gave it to my sister just so she can read it to.

I used this textbook through the Kindle app on my phone while I studied abroad. I was worried that it would be hard to use a textbook that way, but it worked out great because I could bring it on the subway and didn't have to add so much weight to my suitcase! It's a very informative textbook with lots of great research included. I like that at the end of each chapter, there is a summary and list of vocabulary terms and definitions, which is more convenient than going to the end of the book (especially when you're using the phone). The only thing I did not like about this textbook was that it tended to state a lot of opinion as if it were fact. In addition, it regularly strayed to issues of race or homosexuality, which are subjects that probably could have been covered better in a textbook focused to those subjects.
I cannot believe how bad the condition of the book was. I understand It was a rental but very horrible condition.
