I was just so sad when I read reviews that I would have to play the game to get the latest story parts. I am really horrible at strategy games. But believe me when I say that this book really draws you in and you just get attached to the characters. I really wish that the complete story was in novel form.

I love the Starcraft universe, so I have read most of the books that are associated with Starcraft lore. It is written well, sticks to the story line from both old and new Starcraft lore, and has some great moments in action, story line, and relationships between the characters. This book is a great back story to the beginning story line to Tychus' story in this book and in the video game, Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty. Its a great read.

This book is mighty fine if you like space westerns. A little repetitive though. Always describing women in the same fashion, always revolving around lack of clothes. Definitely need to read Heaven's Devils first.

I just wish this book was longer. I am by no means a speed reader. I read slow. very slow. And I burned these ~250 pages like nothing. If you read a lot, buy another book for when you finish this in about 4-6 hours. Not a difficult read, but it was a page-turner.

This is a entertaining read for fans of video game StarCraft. As a fan this was a great read and I loved getting to know James Raynor before his time as a Marshal. With that said, if your not a fan of the series there are a few things that could have been described better. If you like big guns in space you will definitely enjoy this book :P

Reading the follow-up to 'Heaven's Devils' was a back and forth between smirking at the brilliance and sneakiness of Tychus and Raynor. The end makes one feel good. Well not exactly good but finalised.

StarCraft 11 is full of action, like all of the other StarCraft books. I believe I have read them all. They keep your interest up to the very end

Talk about intrigue and action this book is full of both. If you like off beat romance you will find it here . Also all kinds of doublespeak and revenge.. Very smooth transition between plots. Falcon
Devils due is good because there is a lot of action except sometimes there is no real plot to it just them running around going on missions but it progressively gets better as new things get introduced. It is descriptive and obvious that the author has played Starcraft it is good if you like a lot of action and you also have to know the storyline or else it will be confusing and you can only fathom some information from the story so I would recommend you to read heavens devils by William c dietz first so you can understand what is happening in the story
