Frederick Harper (24 November 1863 – 19 January 1937) was a New Zealand cricketer. He played fourteen first-class matches for Otago between 1886 and 1895. Harper was a stylish batsman and brilliant fieldsman who captained Otago in most of his matches. He made 53, the highest score of the match, and the highest score of the short New Zealand first-class season, in 1887-88 when Otago beat Canterbury.

I've used the same horse feed for three years and was satisfied, until the price of feed skyrocketed, and I noticed the lables and quality began to change: smell, dust, filler, etc. Sorting through the "label lingo" left me wondering what to do. I borrowed "Feeding to Win 2" from a friend and found some relief to my delema: How to decide what to keep, abandon, add and change. You can look up each ingredient to determine what is good and bad. The professional trainers in the back were interviewed and seem to disagree with each other. You need to consider the disipline. For example one might recommend whole grain and the others recommed processed. Most were race horse owners/trainers. A couple owned Quarter Horses. I have drafts and crosses. Research the breed, age and their requirements. "Feeding To Win" will help sort it all out. It will also keep you from sounding like an idiot when discussing the topic of feed with a manufacturer, distributor or someone who claims to have knowledge. I recommed this book because it gives you the confidence and knowledge to make the best decisions and sleep at night without second guessing yourself.
