This Pinyin table includes all Mandarin Chinese syllables. Hanyu Pinyin is the official system to transcribe Mandarin Chinese sounds into the Roman alphabet. It was invented in 1950s, and adopted as a standard in mainland China in 1958. Pinyin is used for several purposes, such as teaching Chinese, transcribing names and places into the roman alphabet, and used as an input method for typing Chinese characters. Pinyin is not the only system devised to transcribe Chinese sounds into roman letters.
The Jin dynasty merged the Jurchen culture with Chinese administration, and the charms of the Jin dynasty innovated . Under the Qing dynasty Chinese charms with the inscription tiān xià tài píng (天下太平) became a common sight.

Xie Jin (Chinese: 解縉, 1369–1415), courtesy name Dashen (大紳), art name Chunyu (春雨), was a Chinese scholar-official and poet during the Ming dynasty. He served as Chief Grand Secretary (首輔), the most senior member of the Grand Secretariat during the reign of Yongle Emperor. He was very knowledgeable and was appreciated by the Emperor.
