This is a good carb book. We do a lot of home cooking, so that was a little difficult to figure the carbs, so we had to go to the restaurant dishes and see if any of those compared to what we are using for ingredients. Using this book I was able to lose 1-2 lbs a DAY, and then hit a plateau. However, I think I had been eating too many carbs before starting this book, not realizing what I was consuming, and then once I became aware of what I was doing, I lost the pounds by keeping my carbs under 200. Once my body became aware of that, I stopped losing, but then began again, still keeping my carbs barely over 100. I have felt better since watching those carbs. I am bipolar, and borderline hypoglycemic and this book has helped me without making me having those high peaks and low valleys.

This book is very comprehensive and I have yet to look something up and not find it -- all the various ways you can serve a particular type of food. Also included pre-packaged, brand dinners and fast food restaurant foods. I use mine daily for tracking my carb intake. I like the size because it is small and doesnt take up room in my kitchen, and I can easily travel with it.

The book is GREAT! It's so easy to find the foods you want to see for carb, counting.
The seller was even better than the book. She hand wrote a note to me to make sure I was satisfied and what to do if I wasn,t and she signed it. It made me feel good to have a seller communicate with me like that.
