"AJ's Serpendity" is a sweet, simple story that takes readers to the exotic shores of Greece for a quick afternoon read. AJ is a handsome restaurateur that finds American tourist Samara checking out the local Greek marketplace. He is instantly smitten with her shy manner and quiet beauty. He asks her if he can escort her around the area for an hour. She reluctantly agrees and there begins a love story that lasts the remaining days of her vacation and beyond.

As always, Ms. Frierson creates a male lead that any woman would love to take home. Smart, handsome and confident, AJ understands Samara's reluctance to get involved with him. He is older than Samara and has had tons more experience with the opposite sex. AJ is a man that loves women. He has to take things slow with Samara. But, he knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it.

Samara was understandably befuddled by AJ's attention initially, but slowly began to realize that this was no five days wonder for him. Her lack of experience with men coupled with her own issues about her appearance, made the reader understand why AJ's attraction seemingly came out of left field to her. Ultimately, she had to learn to trust her instincts and go with her heart.

This was a short story that was sweet and simple. It did not delve too deeply with issues of prejudice and racism, but that could be due to the fact that the AJ was Greek, not American. It lacked the depth of "Being Plumville," which was a more complex story, but it was compelling all the same. At just under 150 pages, the price seemed kind of steep. But it was better than a lot of the novels that I've found lately.

"AJ's Serpendity" was a love story filled with handsome men, exotic locations and great food. I'm ready to book by flight to Athens right now.

I like Savannah J. Frierson, but I wasn't really feeling this book. I mean, it's okay. I can't bring myself to go past three stars.

After reading Go With Your Heart and the fantastic Being Plumville, I was ecstatic to read something else by this author. However, A.J's Serendipity wasn't it. Lol.

I appreciated that Samara was more on the quirky, innocent, "finding herself" side. It was nice to see her come into herself at the end of the book, as she struggled with breaking away from what everyone thought she was supposed to be, and what she was supposed to be doing. However, A.J (Alejandro) annoyed me. Yea, he sounded sexy. Yea it was cool he seemed to have it going on. But, I don't know I felt like he was too pushy sometimes. I kept feeling like, dude, back up a little and let the girl figure some stuff out. I guess he's a dominating type of guy, but still...*shrug*

Frierson's writing, as always, is superb. So, you won't be disappointed there.

AJ has a huge...EQ score. I mean, the man's emotional quotient must be chart-topping. Which is great for this sweet novella - and virgins and introverts, I guess? Liked the story, felt the pace could have been a little snappier, but while the heroine's passivity was sort of tiresome after a while (I mean, come on, girl - a hot, fine man in Greece wants you. Get. With. The. Program.), it all made for a fairy tale-like read. Which is fine!

Whenever I want a sweet uncomplicated story this is my fall back book. I have read it a million times. I know pretty much all the words. I've always been a reader who is more interested in story than the sex scenes in books. If you're looking for a hot and steamy book, this isn't the book for you. If you're looking for a sweet, genuine, happily ever after love story, you'll love this book. I really miss this author. She is one of my favorites, but doesn't release books much anymore. Would have loved to see about Frankie.

Ms. Frierson is an awesome writer. Her books don't have to include pages full of erotica to capture your emotional/mental senses. She knows how to tell a story to it's fullest.

AJ's Serendipity was a simple sweet love story that touches your heart. Characters were great. The story line was great. The ending was magical. This book goes to show you that a book does not have to be about hot steamy sex for it be considered a good read. The book does tease your sexual senses. I would like to see a sequel to this book. Ms. Frierson is not your average author and I truely appreciate her work!! I recommend this book for all romantics at heart. Five Stars For You Savannah!!!

This was a sweet story that I really enjoyed. His(AJ) patience with her (Samara) showed how much he loved her. Samara's lack of knowing how pretty she was came from her family. This story had me smiling throughout the book. The one main thing I didn't like about the book was her thoughts and conversations with her sister were never shown. This story was one sided (his). The other was what happen when she went back to Greece instead of showing them four years later.

Interesting look at a male's perspective when he falls in love at first sight. Found the female character a little shallow even though she dealt with her poor self-esteem. However,failed to provide much insight into the experiences that led to her lack of confidence. Pleasant read while sitting on the beach and you do not want to think too deeply.

I enjoyed this story. The things that I enjoyed about the story are the hero, who pursues his love relentlessly. Love the descriptions of Italy.... seriously I want to move there one day! The heroine was a bit one dimensional and would have like to see this character more fleshed out and with a bit more depth. The read is still worth the kindle price if you enjoy the romantic read over the erotic one.
