This is the fourth book by this author that I have read. This one is set in Korea outside the Osan Air Base. Our Hero is called on to assist the Korean police with the investigation of a murder of a bar girl. Did someone from the US military kill her? If so, this could have negative consequences for US/Korea relations. Is there a cover up to protect the American interests? To find out the answers you will need to read the book. There are a lot of twists to the story but all the questions are answered by the end of the book which moves along at a fast pace. I recommend highly.

Major Burton Webber resigned from the military when he was passed over for promotion because he married a Korean woman. He had been in charge of the OSI office at a military base in South Korea. His former commanding officer wanted him back to be in charge of the investigation of a politically sensitive murder of a beautiful bar dancer. Plenty of intrigue and excitement as he weaves his way thru the complex plot. The reader wonders right up till the dramatic ending who the killer was. Very interesting also was the lesson in Korean culture. Really a superb page turner.

I was glad to find this on Amazon for the Kindle, as I haven't been able to find it in print.

Gets you caught in the action from the first of the book. I didn't want to have to put my Kindle down, even to fix something to eat!!

Davis is as good as a Flynn, Grisham, Metzler, Griffin, etc. Can't wait to finish reading all of his books.

Excellent service and value. Thanks
The Commander was an excellent read. Not very many books are written in a first-person format, but it is a great way to write. The story is first-rate, with compelling, believable characters.
