Publishing contemporary international fiction - powered by readers, writers and translators. kind of book that will reverberate with you after you have finished it for the first time. It creeps up on you and surprises you and, after a while, you realize you need to go back and reread it to peel back the onion and understand the book at deeper levels. It reminded me of a Noir novel set in a very real yet very detached and dream like realm that is, at the same time, the world we exist in and something else. The writer has peeled of the skin of reality so that we can look at the workings underneath.

Kathryn Cave was born in Aldershot in Hampshire. She has three grown-up children and four grandchildren. Kathryn has written more than 20 children's books for all ages including Something Else. Chris Riddell was a student of Raymond Briggs at Brighton. He now works in a range of different areas of illustration, including political cartoons. He has written and illustrated many children's books and has won the Kate Greenaway Medal twice and the Nestle Children's Book prize seven times.

Just My Luck (僕らの運勢, Bokura no Unsei, Our Luck) is a yaoi manga by Temari Matsumoto. It is one volume with three different one-shot stories and couples. The first is about a teacher and student relationship, the second a toymaker and an android, and the third a school nurse and a student. The manga was licensed in the United States by BLU, the Boys Love branch of TokyoPop, in October 2007.

Just My Luck is a deeply moving and rewarding novel about a down-on-his-luck boy whose caring heart ultimately helps him find the strength to cope with tragedy and realize how much he truly has to offer his friends and family.
