The Complete Poems of Emily Bronte.
This collection has forty-seven poems by the three sisters. This volume is organized into the poems of each individual sister. I enjoyed reading most of these poem because they are classically written and flow grammatically. The first section has poems by Charlotte Bronte (1816-1855) and includes: The letter, regret, presentiment, the teacher’s monologue, passion, winter stores and other poems. The second collection in this book has poems by Emily Bronte (1818-1848).

Emily Brontë is best known for authoring the novel 'Wuthering Heights. Emily also wrote other poems as well. Her sister Charlotte discovered some of Emily's poems and sought to publish them along with her own work and some by Anne. She was the sister of Charlotte and Anne Brontë, also famous authors. The three sisters used male pen names for their collection-Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. Published in 1846, the book only sold a few copies and garnered little attention. Again publishing as Ellis Bell, Brontë published her defining work, Wuthering Heights, in December 1847.

Patrick Branwell Brontë was a 19th century English writer and artist who was the only male member of the famous Brontë literary family which also numbered sisters Anne, Emily and Charlotte. He was born on the 26th June 1817 in Thornton, a small village close to the West Yorkshire city of Bradford, the son of a clergyman and the fourth of six children. At the age of four the family moved to The Parsonage in Haworth which is now the well-visited museum that attracts devotees of the Brontë clan from all over the world
