Jean Davies Okimoto (Author). Grade 9 Up-A humorous sequel to Jason's Women (Little, Brown, 1986). I absolutely love this book, the book expresses what Jason thinks on matters like girl and family
Jean Davies Okimoto (Author). Nothing seems to be going right in Jason Kovak's world. His best friend has moved to California, his divorced father is about to remarry, and he is not thrilled with his prospective stepmother. I absolutely love this book, the book expresses what Jason thinks on matters like girl and family. It's funny sometimes how Jason do things.
Lonesome and painfully shy, 16-year-old Jason drools over the personal ads until he meets beautiful Thao Nguyen and her elderly sponsor. Okimoto's prose is both entertaining and satisfying in Jason's Women. Her ability to deliver the subtle humor that comes with a teenage boy's romantic fantisies is unabridged and believable. This humorous and sensative story captures, and delivers, a look inside of this most critical period of adolesence. I found Jason's Women to be a delightful read that kept my interest page after page.

To Jaykae - Jean Davies Okimoto. There was another reason I jumped at the chance to go with Kenny. He was between women and I knew it wouldn’t be that long before he was involved again and spending every minute with a new lady. It was getting predictable. Kenny and I had been friends since we were little kids, but last year everything changed.
