Constable & Robinson Ltd. 55–56 Russell Square. This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents are either the product of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously, and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or to actual events or locales is entirely coincidental.

There is an infinitude of Pasts, all equally valid, wrote Andre Maurois, the French novelist and biographer. At each and every instant of Time, however brief you suppose it, the line of events forks like the stem of a tree putting forth twin branches.

By definition an anthology contains a variety, and while I didn't enjoy every story some were truly outstanding and I'm still thinking about them. Highly recommended if you're the type of reader who likes to think about what you've read .

I generally like anthologies because they are fairly quick reads and you get to sampling different writings. Much like going to a wine tasting. There are always some I like better and want to see how the entire bottle goes down. One drawback to doing the review right after finishing the book on my Kindle is that I cannot go back and look at specific story titles or authors. All this to tell you to read this and I have no doubt you will find authors new to you that will expand your reading horizons. I know I did.

Pretty Good book.
Kulwes
Great collection of sci-fi stories here from all accross the genre. Spans many styles, times and authors. Visited a lot of oldies-but-goodies here from the 50s and 60s.

The editors have done a great job of balancing classic stories with new acquisitions. A variety of themes and concerns are represented here; it isn't all "big ships and bigger guns" SF.
Mpapa
decent stories, easy read

Average at best.
Some good stories, some crap stories. Most are in-between. You might enjoy it, you might not, but you will most likely quickly forget it.
Picked this up due to familiarity with most of the contributing authors. They didn't disappoint.

One or two familiar stories, but lots of new ones with good surprise endings.
