Top notch book. My husband can't put it down!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my dad last year and he still can't put it down. He loves it from the perspective of a former pilot and photographer. When I was about ten he took me to the museum and it still remains one our favorite vacations. The book itself is of a wonderful quality. It details the history of flight up until 1977 and is filled with amazing photographs and facts. There's a few really neat fold-outs as well which was a nice surprise. Oh and the text is large enough for him that he doesn't need a magnifying glass (for those of you that need reading glasses and a magnitude). I found it for $12 at a thrift store and this is a much more expensive book than that. I imagine it was $50 or more brand new so you can't beat the price of a used copy. If you have an interest in planes and space flight this is a must have.

Nice, high quality, hardcover book. The pages themselves are high quality as well; thick, glossy, with high resolution images of the exhibits. Of course, the book also contains numerous facts and history behind it all. This is a VERY expensive book to buy brand new, but as always, you can find this book used for a great price. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone interested in the subject.
