And there will also be opportunities to consider entrepreneurship in optics in the life sciences. Continuing the success of the recent previous meetings held in 2016-India, 2014-China, 2012-Italy, 2010-Canada, 2008-Singapore, 2006-Taiwan, and 2004-Australia, the 15th conference will come to Perth, Western Australia, running over three full days on beautiful Rottnest Island, a car-free beach sanctuary a short ferry ride from Perth. It remains more relevant today than at its inception in 1990.
