Sounding Forth the Trumpet is an extraordinary expression of faith and a critically needed spiritual perspective on the causes of the tragedy called the Civil War, almost invariably argued to have been economic or political. This is a very important book. - John Cardinal OConnor, Archdiocese of New York. The authors again remind us of the things weve left behind and admonish us to go back and pick them up. - - Cal Thomas, syndicated columnist. Wonderful book that gives a very deep look into the history of America from a Christian perspective. It is well written and would be a wonderful tool for homeschool history classes.
A trumpet is a brass instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles. The trumpet group ranges from the piccolo trumpet with the highest register in the brass family, to the bass trumpet, which is pitched one octave below the standard B-flat or C Trumpet. Trumpet-like instruments have historically been used as signaling devices in battle or hunting, with examples dating back to at least 1500 BC. They began to be used as musical instruments only in the late 14th or early 15th century.
