Barry Goldsmith is a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and co-head of the firm’s Securities Enforcement Practice Group. Goldsmith is a frequent speaker on securities enforcement and regulatory issues. Goldsmith’s practice focuses on the representation of broker dealers, investment advisers and public companies in SEC, DOJ, FINRA, and internal investigations. Goldsmith previously served as head of Enforcement at NASD (now FINRA)and before that served as Chief Litigation Counsel at the SEC, where he was responsible for all enforcement litigation brought by the agency.
