The book is strikingly readable and saturated with what one might call.
Broad in reference and informed by the homilist's touch, The Priority of Christwill be an important contribution to a conversation the Church must have. The Priority of Christ is unusually stimulating for an exercise in 'postliberal' theology.

Towards a Theology of Servanthood. How we measure 'reads'. This article defines servanthood and servant-leadership from a Christian perspective, arguing that a clear distinction must be made between popular perspectives of servant-leadership and Biblical servanthood and servant-leadership. The implications of this distinction are that Christian believers, as servants, must first see themselves as servants of God, and only secondarily as servants of people.
This book offers a critique of ‘decline theology’, which has been influential amongst theologians and churches, and which assumes church growth is impossible and/or unnecessary. The contributors provide rich resources from scripture, doctrine and tradition, to underpin action to promote church growth and to stimulate further theological reflection on the subject. The Archbishop of Canterbury provides the Foreword. To read this book, upload an EPUB or FB2 file to Bookmate.
