We were so pleased to find a source for entertaining our 2 1/2 year old in the suburbs of Boston.
The book provides you with places to go and things to do year-round, from where to eat with your child to where to play (indoor playspaces, parks, museums, etc). It also offers ideas for day trips and birthday parties. In addition, it provides descriptions, hours, directions, as well as the entrance costs.
An A+ source that surpasses even the most local of children's newspaper publications!

... this is a useful book, BUT pay attention to the publication date when you purchase.

096796511X was published around 2001.

Some Amazon listings currently refer to a later edition. It may be that the publisher re-used the ISBN, or it may be that the book is mis-catalogued. Either way, check with the seller before you buy, so that you will get exactly what you are looking for!

We recently moved to the Wayland area and love this book! However, it is outdated (we drove to Arlington to find that the Tot Stop went out of business in 2003)and needs a new revision.

Is there an updated version coming? We would love to have one :)

Thanks!
