The Chapters are short enough that I can read one chapter in a day. I use it for school.

My father bought the 1994 edition of this book when I still a child in fourth grade in India. It was the most expensive gift he could have afforded given that we belonged to the lower middle class of India.

The book has beautiful and inspiring illustrations, very accessible and readable chapters and the most fascinating subject matter a child could ask for.

After reading the chapters on structure of atom and relativity, I resolved that one day I shall go to study subatomic particles at CERN.

And yes, I finally did.

Dear parents, I highly recommend this book.
