If you like historical fiction, you will enjoy this book. I liked that this book was full of adventure, and had unexpected events that I didn't know about before. The author did a good job describing specific parts of Lewis and Clark's journey. I read this book for my 5th grade history class, and would recommend it to any 5th or 6th grader.

If you like dogs and you like adventure, you will love this book! When I read this book, even the first chapter caught my attention. This book will have you trapped in. The description gives an amazing picture in your mind; you truly fell like you are right their with them. I was not a big fan of reading. I would pick up a book and then set it down. But this book I could not set down. It was like a roller coaster with some many twists and turns. I loved this book.

It`s a great history book that shows who Lewis and Clark really are. It also shows who else went with them. It tells why they went on their journey in the first place. It`s full of entries from their journals too. Enjoyed it.

Seaman is one of the best historical fiction books I have ever read! I don't usually like books about dogs, but I have grown to love this loyal adventurous dog who journeys in the New World with Lewis and Clark. Seaman proves to be the most helpful explorer on the trip by saving lives and helping the wounded! It is such a wonderful book!
