Julie Aigner-Clark founded The Baby Einstein Company in 1997. Her goal was to provide fun, interactive ways to expose her own babies to the arts and humanities, subjects that were important to her as a former English teacher. While I do really enjoy most of the Baby Einstein series of videos, books, and other educational items, most of them appear to be aged inappropriately.

This little board book is so cute! It is larger than I expected which is a wonderful surprise:) My little 3 month old loves touching and turning the pages as I read to him. Five star rated and well worth it.

I have to give this book five stars because it really helps my daughter identify with different parts of her body. she loves the colors as well as looking into the mirror. I would definitely recommend this book!!!!

Cute book. My son loves to look at himself in the mirrors on every page. Also the pages aren't too wordy for a kid to sit and listen to.

Julie Aigner-Clark, a lover of the arts, created the Baby Einstein products as a means of introducing children to music, language, art, and nature in a fun way to stimulate their creativity early in life. In BABY DA VINCI: My Body are vivid and bright illustrations detailing the various parts of the body along with rhyming lines identifying them and what they do. The cute part of the book is that every other page has a cute mirror in which children can look at themselves and point out the areas being mentioned on their body.

In addition, the book is full of other learning tools for older children such as colors, shapes, and items most young children are capable of identifying such as trees, flowers, birds, and our main characters, various common animals. The illustrations of Nadeem Zaidi match this book perfectly and it's a wonderful addition for younger children learning about their bodies.

While I do really enjoy most of the Baby Einstein series of videos, books, and other educational items, most of them appear to be aged inappropriately. This one is no exception. I can't see a 9 month old as the beginning range for this book, but instead a child who is just learning to talk and identify with things. Older children in the 2 year-old range may enjoy this book a bit more and get the full benefits of it.

My son is so bored by this book by the time we get to the 3rd or 4th page. EVERY SINGLE PAGE just has a mirror and the text asks if you can look at your [instert body part here] in the mirror.

We bought and were gifted many Baby Einstein products when our kids were born. Some of them were a hit with the kids and others, like Baby da Vinci My Body, just fell flat.

This is a tabbed board book, I suppose to make it easier for babies to turn the pages. Each page references a body part and provides a mirror for the child to locate the same body part on her body. While I like the idea of discussing a body part and encouraging the child to look at it in the mirror, the rhymes for each body part were irritating and after just a couple of times through this book I was done with it. As it turned out this was not my kids' favorite Baby Einstein book either...and I was a very enthusiastic reader.

The illustrations are simple and colorful, but weren't enough to hold my kids' attention.
